But here's fun fact in Dapitan. Rizal treated his patients' pets too! From dogs to cats he give free check-us like a true village doctor. People didn't just call him ' Doctor Rizal' he became the beloved doctor of the entire community, humans and animals alike. Si yes our hero wasn't just a national hero he was also one of the Philippines very first pet doctors. How cool is that?
