I want to tell you about my first day at university. It was a day I’ll never forget, and honestly, I was both excited and incredibly nervous. The day started early, around seven in the morning. I didn't sleep well the night before because I kept imagining what it would be like. My mom drove me to campus. When we arrived, the grounds were huge and full of energy. My first class was 'práctica de la historia.' I found the lecture hall easily, but I didn't know anyone yet, so I chose a seat in the back. The professor was really engaging and immediately made us feel welcome. I took pages of notes! Later that afternoon, during a break, I met a couple of students who were also studying the same major. We shared a slightly awkward but fun lunch at the student cafeteria. We talked about our favourite subjects and our hopes for the next four years. By the time I went home, I felt exhausted, but also genuinely happy. I didn't feel nervous anymore. It was a truly wonderful and important day in my life."
