“It’s no secret how much Barcelona means to me. It’s where I grew up, where I became who I am — as a player and a person. The connection I have with the club, the fans, the city… it’s something special. I’ve been thinking a lot, and I really want to come back next season. I hope Joan Laporta and the club can look into making it happen. My heart has always been with Barça.
