I believe tail docking should only be performed when it’s absolutely necessary for an animal’s medical well-being, not just out of tradition or convenience. As caretakers, it’s our responsibility to treat animals with respect and compassion while still meeting agricultural needs. When animals are healthy and comfortable, they grow better, reproduce more efficiently, and require fewer veterinary treatments. That means better results for farmers, better quality for consumers, and most importantly — a better life for the animals themselves.
