When did we move in with my mom’s new partner, and how long did we live there? My grandmother was born in 1973 in Mexico. 2. She was 14 years old and moved around 1987. 3. My mom was born around 1996 and was the only daughter my grandmother had with my grandfather. 4.My grandfather moved to the United States in 2000 and started another family there. 5. When my mom was 15, in 2000, she had my older sister. 6. I was born in 2006, and my mom was 19 years old. 7. My younger sister was born in 2010, and my mom was 23 years old. 8. They separated in 2015. I was 11 years old, and my older sister was 15 9. We moved to my maternal grandmother's house and lived there until I turned 16. 10. We moved at the end of 2022 and returned to my grandmother's house in early 2025. Hearing my family's story made me reflect on the changes we've gone through over time. From my grandmother's move to our last relocation, each event has influenced the way we live and our relationships. I was surprised to learn more about my mom's life when she was young and all the challenges she faced. I also understood better why we've had so many home changes and how each stage has been important in our history. This experience helped me value my family more and understand how we've gotten to where we are today.
