Lauren is an unhinged and unpredictable girl. Referred to as "Scary Girl" by her peers due to her love of all things horror and her ability to freak people out in many ways, she loves the idea of making things more fearful. She enjoys the sound of screaming, regardless of if it is from the opposing team or her teammates (however, given the choice between keeping people alive and seeing them dead, she would rather see them alive so she can continue to hear them scream). This could cause Lauren to be considered one of the most dangerous contestants in the show's history since the likes of Mal or Scarlett. In season two, she decides to try "to conform to societal norms" after being told by everyone that she is too scary. She went as far as to wearing the opposite of what she usually wears, and not try to injure anyone. However, she proves that old habits die hard after telling everyone she stalks them in their sleep, and getting eliminated in the process. She goes back to her old scary ways come the finale.
