this is Malaysia's most famous dish bamboo rice. To make it a 1 to 2-foot-long piece of bamboo, is taken and filled with soaked rice and coconut water. It is then cooked over a low flame using wood charcoal or fire for about 40 to 50 minutes. Once fully cooked, the rice absorbs a subtle aroma from the bamboo, and it’s this unique fragrance that makes it one of the most distinctive dishes in the world.
