The Nissan GT-R is a high-performance 2+2 sports coupe produced by Nissan. It is the spiritual successor to the famous Skyline GT-R, but it became a standalone model (R35 generation) starting in 2007, dropping the "Skyline" name. It quickly earned the nickname "Godzilla" (a name inherited from the R32 Skyline GT-R) for its formidable power and ability to compete with much more expensive European supercars.
