Chococat is a popular, playful black cat character from the Japanese company Sanrio, known for his large eyes, and radio antenna-whiskers that pick up news, and a distinctive brown nose, which inspired his name. He's a bit scatterbrained but always informed, often seen with his friends Cookie-Bau (a dog), Nutz (a hamster), and Jellybean (a rabbit). Like Hello Kitty, Chococat has no visible mouth and debuted in 1996, becoming a beloved figure in the West.
