Hello friends, Welcome to Bobby Dada Street Food. Today I’m going to show you how to make crispy Bundi, also known as Boondi, at home using simple ingredients. First, let’s prepare the batter. Take one cup of gram flour, also called besan, in a bowl. Add half teaspoon salt and quarter teaspoon turmeric powder. Now slowly add about three-fourth cup water, little by little, and mix well. Make sure the batter is smooth and lump-free. The batter should be medium flowing, not too thick and not too thin. Now heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame. The oil should be hot, but not smoking hot. To check the oil, drop a little batter — it should come up slowly. Next, hold a perforated ladle, also called a boondi jhara, over the hot oil. Pour the batter slowly over the ladle. You can see small round Bundi dropping into the oil. Fry the Bundi on medium flame. Stir gently so that they fry evenly. Cook until the Bundi turns light golden and crispy. Do not over-fry, or the Bundi will become hard. Once done, remove the Bundi using a slotted spoon and place them on tissue paper to remove excess oil. Now our crispy homemade Bundi is ready. You can use it for boondi raita, kadhi, sabzi, or enjoy it as a crunchy snack. If you like this recipe, please like, share, and subscribe to Bobby Dada Street Food. See you in the next video.
