My Technical School and Why I Chose Electronics Hi everyone, my name is Carlos, and today I’m going to talk about my school, the Industrial 4 José Menéndez, and about the technical specialization I chose: Electronics. My school is a technical school, which means we study the regular high-school subjects, but we also learn technical content that prepares us for real jobs in the future. That is something I really like because we mix theory with a lot of hands-on practice. I chose the Electronics specialization because technology is everywhere today, and almost everything depends on electronic systems. Phones, computers, cars, and even factories need electronics to work. I wanted to understand how these systems function and how circuits are designed and repaired. In the Electronics workshops, we learn to build and test different types of circuits. We use tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes, and we work with components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits. We also learn to read diagrams, solder components, and analyze electronic signals. One of the most important parts of my learning experience has been the projects I built in the workshop. Some of the projects I made are a Vúmetro, an amplifier, a night light, a LED cube, a three-range timer, a symmetric power supply, and an electronic dice. Each project helped me practice different skills, like designing circuits, soldering, troubleshooting, and understanding how electronic components work together. Finishing a project and seeing it function is always very rewarding. The teachers in the technical area also guide us a lot. Many of them have real experience in the electronic industry, so they give us practical advice and show us how everything we learn is used in real jobs. This makes the classes more interesting and useful. Choosing Electronics also gives me many opportunities for the future. I can study engineering, telecommunications, programming, or work in areas like automation, maintenance, and electronic design. I feel that this specialization gives me a strong foundation for any technological career. For me, studying at Industrial 4 José Menéndez and choosing Electronics was a great decision. It helps me grow, learn practical skills, and prepare for the future. I am proud of my school and of the path I chose. Thank you very much for listening
