This is the fifth episode of the Malaysian animated series “Pada Zaman Dahulu”, titled "The Mousedeer Counts the Crocodiles". It tells a traditional folktale about a clever mousedeer who often uses his intelligence to solve problems. In this episode, the mousedeer wants to cross a river full of crocodiles. Using his wit, he tricks the crocodiles by pretending he needs to count them for the Jungle King. The crocodiles form a line across the river, and the mousedeer jumps on their backs to cross safely. Once he crosses, he reveals the trick and escapes into the forest.
