Jeff Bezos, born on January 12, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a globally recognized American entrepreneur as the founder of Amazon, one of the largest and most successful companies in the world. From an early age, Bezos showed a great interest in science and technology. He grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Princeton University in 1986 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His professional career began in the world of finance and investments, working at companies such as Fitel, Bankers Trust, and D. E. Shaw & Co., where he served as vice president. It was at this last job that, motivated by the opportunities he saw in the growth of the Internet, he decided to change his course and start his own business.
