The Structure Of The Living Universe You may have heard of the fundamental forces of the universe Of gravity and electromagnetism, and interactions weak and strong And if you have listened well to my stories, you would know of others The matters of heart, soul, darkness and dreams Just as it would be preposterous to think of gravity "opposing" electricity So too it would be foolishness to imagine intentional elements are opposing one another And yet... beings tried with all their heart and soul to live only with good dreams In one realm, the fashioned their dreams into kingdoms of subservient elements Kingdoms of wind, water, trees, and light But the fifth kingdom, the kingdom of moon to faithfully serve the realm of darkness Was sealed away, as the inhabitants of the lands shunned unpleasant of nightmares The inhabitants rejected darkness, deeming it a pathology to be suppressed So instead, they focused on the light, devoting all their will to bring forth the good dreams But some could not suppress the darkness, always feeling ill at ease in the world These were tormented by nightmares, anxiety, and a sense that something was amiss... The sense that the world was not their own, even if it pretended to be so
