My Experience in the Inti Raymi Festival Last June, I participated in the Inti Raymi Festival in Cusco. It was my first time in this celebration. I felt excited and a little nervous. I wore a beautiful traditional dress with bright colors. Early in the morning, I went to Sacsayhuamán with my family and friends. I joined the parade. I walked with other students and smiled at the people. I danced to the music and waved my hands. Many tourists took photos of me. During the ceremony, I watched the actors play the Inca king and queen. I listened to the traditional music and saw the offering to the sun god. At the end of the day, I felt very proud. I learned a lot about my culture and history. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience for me.
