The Story of the Three Wise Men In the East, lived Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltazar, three wise men who studied the stars. They saw a bright star that guided them to Bethlehem, where they found Jesus, a little baby with his mother, Mary. They offered him gold, incense, and myrrh. Melchor gave him gold, Gaspar gave him incense, and Baltazar gave him myrrh. After adoring Jesus, they were warned in dreams not to return with Herod, so they took another route home. The three wise men were happy to have found the baby and they spent time with him. They show us that faith and obedience are important.
