Hello everyone, welcome back to my vlog. This trip is very special for me because my husband and I are travelling to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. This is our first trip together as a married couple, and I’m so excited to share these moments with you. We started our day very early in the morning. With sleepy eyes and excited hearts, we headed to Melbourne Airport. Everything felt extra special—our first anniversary trip, our first vlog, and so many memories waiting to be made. After a smooth flight, we finally landed at Gold Coast Airport. The moment we stepped out, we could already feel the warm coastal air, and honestly, it felt like the holiday had officially begun. Our first stop was food—because after travelling, food is always a priority. We grabbed something to eat nearby and then decided to explore a little. While roaming around, we came across our first beach in the Gold Coast, and it was absolutely beautiful. The view, the calm waves, and the open sky—it instantly made me feel relaxed and happy. After that, we headed to our hotel to check in. And wow… the hotel was so, so beautiful. It was located right in the heart of the city, with everything so close and lively around us. We quickly freshened up because we were too excited to rest—we just wanted to go out and explore. We went for a casual walk around the city, just soaking in the vibe. The streets were alive, the atmosphere was cheerful, and everywhere felt so vibrant. While walking, I noticed someone singing live at a restaurant. The voice, the music, the moment—it was truly amazing. I couldn’t help but capture it because it added such a beautiful feeling to our evening. From there, we walked towards the beach again. The water was so warm and comforting, not cold at all. It honestly felt amazing. I really wanted to swim, but since I don’t know how to swim, I just enjoyed standing near the water and letting my feet soak in the waves. That feeling was more than enough for me. We spent some quiet moments there—just us, the sound of the ocean, and the calmness of the Gold Coast. These are the moments that make travelling so special. Later, we found out that there was a local market happening that day, and luckily, we got a chance to explore it. The market was lively and colourful, full of energy. There were stalls, people, music, and so many interesting things to see. One moment that really surprised me was seeing someone with a snake around their neck. It was for photos, but honestly… I was so scared. I definitely decided to stay away from that and skipped the photo. Some things are just not for me—and that’s okay. After walking around the market, we were completely exhausted and very hungry. So, we decided to head back to the hotel, change, and then go out again for dinner. We wanted something hot, comforting, and a little spicy, so we decided to have hotpot. We searched for a nearby place and found a nice hotpot restaurant. And honestly, it was the perfect choice. After such a long day, that warm and flavourful food felt so satisfying. We enjoyed our meal, talked, laughed, and just enjoyed being there together. After dinner, we took a slow walk around the city again before finally heading back to the hotel. By the end of the day, we were tired—but in the best way possible. Full hearts, full stomachs, and so many beautiful memories already made on Day One. That’s it for today’s vlog. This is Part One of our Gold Coast anniversary trip. I’ll be sharing Day Two, Day Three, and Day Four very soon—so stay tuned to see how we spend the rest of our time together here in the Gold Coast. Thank you so much for watching, and I’ll see you in the next vlog. Bye-bye 🤍✨
