Jensen Ross Ackles (born March 1, 1978, in Dallas, Texas) is an American actor, producer, and musician. He began modeling as a child, later acting in TV shows like Days of Our Lives (Eric Brady), Dark Angel, and Smallville. His breakthrough came as Dean Winchester in the long-running series Supernatural (2005–2020), which made him a household name.
