You know, serving at Fort Hood was amazing, did about 12 years there with different units. Could've stayed longer, absolutely, but family comes first. Making the transition now to civilian life, heading back to San Antonio where the kids can settle down.

You know, I was thinking about those Sunday afternoons we used to have, just sitting on the porch with mom, and it would be so great to do that again, you know? Just talking about everything and nothing, those were really special moments.
