You know, I was working on these songs, and I remember going into the studio, just trying different things out. The producer, he was real patient with me, and we kept working until we got that sound, you know, that particular sound I was looking for.

You know what I'm saying, like when I was younger, I ain't really understand what it meant to be responsible, you know what I'm saying. Like, my pops tried to tell me, but I had to learn it myself, you know what I'm saying. That's just how life is, you feel me?

You know, when I'm writing songs, it's like, I'm just trying to put those feelings into words that maybe someone else needs to hear. Music's always been that thing for me, like, it just connects with people in ways that nothing else really can.

You know, like, today's practice was just incredible, everyone was like, really giving their all and, um, the energy was just crazy. We were all so hyped up and, you know, when we finished, we were like, wow, that was really special. I'm just really grateful for these moments.
