So I'm sitting there at midnight, flipping channels between History Channel and some infomercial about miracle hair growth, and my kid's stuffed animal falls behind the couch. Now I'm thinking, do I move the entire couch at midnight and risk waking everyone up? That's not how I want to be remembered.

You know, when you're developing a character, it's like, there's this whole process of finding their voice and, actually, it's interesting because sometimes you discover things you didn't expect, but that's what makes it real, you know what I mean?
