You know, I was talking to, sort of, the director yesterday, and you know, it's funny because my kids were actually there on set, and they were kind of watching the whole thing, and it's just, you know, really amazing how everything comes together when you're filming.

Yeah, I mean, working on movies is kind of amazing, you know? I guess what really makes it special is, like, the people you meet and become friends with. And then suddenly you're all creating something together, which is pretty cool.

You know, working with the cast is amazing. We're like a real family now, and sometimes between takes, we'll just sit around the dinner table and chat, even when we're not filming. It's pretty special, and I think that's what makes the show feel so authentic.

Back in high school, man, there was this time during basketball practice where I messed up this really easy layup, and like, the whole team wouldn't let it go. Every practice they'd bring it up, trying to get in my head, but you know, you just gotta keep pushing through that stuff.

You know, I was working with this amazing actor the other day, and, you know, we just sort of clicked right away, and my kids were actually there on set, and they kind of loved watching the whole process, you know, it was just really special.

Oh, Tommy from next door left his bike in the rain again. Oh and his mom's a lawyer, not a dentist like our parents. We always saw him eating lunch alone in the suburbs. His sandwich was always peanut butter.

I remember playing this small venue in Austin and Josh Abbott was there, and he came up to me after the show and we talked about songwriting and stuff. And so that really helped me understand more about the Texas music scene and how it all works.

Look at this tough girl, all business and serious, walks around like she owns the place, acts like nothing can touch her. But show her a puppy video, and suddenly she's all giggles and baby talk, completely different person.
