You know, I was in the studio the other day, and this young artist came through, like, super talented. And what I appreciate is he wasn't trying to battle anybody, he was just trying to make good music, tell his story. That's what hip-hop needs more of.

And he just stood there by the old gate and he looked at the house and he looked at the trees and he looked at me and he said I think I’m ready now and he’s smiling and he’s just taking a long look at everything.

Back in 2015, I finally started seeing a therapist. As a Black man, it wasn't easy taking that step. My community, we don't always talk about these things. But sitting there in that office, I felt something changing. Something healing.

You know what's funny? My doctor told me to start eating more healthy food. So I bought one of those fancy blenders. Now I've got a $200 machine sitting on my counter that makes stuff that tastes exactly like lawn clippi.

You know like, when people be talking about how you dress and whatever, I'm just saying wear what makes you feel good and stuff. Like if you wanna be feminine or masculine or whatever, that's your business and I'm cool with that you know what I'm saying.

Being on set with this team was just incredible, and you know, when you have that level of trust, it allows you to really push the boundaries. Every day felt like a new challenge, but seeing how everything came together in the final edit is just inspiring.

When we bring those different worlds together in the studio, it creates a vibe that just resonates everywhere. I seen the fans going crazy from the front row to the back of the arena. It’s a beautiful thing when the music translates to every culture and keeps them moving.

Once that feeling hit, I knew I was done for. It wasn't about partying anymore; it was about survival. I couldn't even imagine a life where I didn't need that high just to walk out the front door and face the world. It was my whole identity.
