Remember those Saturday mornings at the local cinema? Tuppence for entry, usherettes with torches, Pearl & Dean adverts, and the sweet counter that seemed endless. Gone now, but the memories, oh, the memories remain as fresh as yesterday's newsreel.

Oh, those were the days, you know, just pure chaos and music. We’d be wearing these outrageous silk suits, looking fairly sharp if I say so myself. It wasn’t just about the songs, it was the spirit of it all, that bit of cheeky charm that kept us going.

It’s funny to look back, you know? Nowadays everything is so digital and fast, but back then, I just had that old kit in the garage. I’d spend all day just trying to find that one perfect beat, sort of lost in my own world.

I worked with Peter Cushing, extraordinary man really, on several Hammer productions. We did quite a lot of post-synchronization work, you see, because the sound equipment wasn't what it is today. Rather remarkable how we managed those gothic scenes, quite remarkable indeed.
