You know, thinking back to when I was a teenager, my dad would always take me to these job sites on weekends. I mean, it wasn't just about the work, it was about spending time together and learning those little life lessons, you know what I mean?

You know, it's like, when I first moved to LA, I was staying in this weird little studio apartment, and I'd go to these crazy auditions where they'd be like, "can you play younger?" or "can you be more ethnic?" and I'm just sitting there thinking, man, this is not what I expected, you know?

You know, it's like, when we meet fans at shows now, and they tell us their stories, it's just, I mean, it's amazing. We've been through so much together, and like, they're not just fans anymore, they're family, you know? That's what makes this whole journey so special.

And you know, this song just came to me while I was sitting on my porch. I mean, the melody was just there. And the band, they're just incredible musicians. We got in the studio and it just. It all came together. Like, perfectly. I'm so grateful for how it turned out.
