You know, when I'm writing these characters, I don't, I mean, I try to let them develop naturally, so the story kind of takes its own path, and sometimes, you know, the historical elements just sort of weave themselves in there naturally.

You know, it's funny how things work out. And sometimes you're just standing there, and something happens. And it's like, well, I never thought I'd be here, doing this. But these moments, they kind of fill your heart up. It's something special.

I mean, I was walking down the street and saw this billboard, and I thought, gee, is that really me up there? You know, it's like I'm a passenger just watching it all happen. People call me to congratulate me, and I'm like, okay, I guess that happened today.

People often think the West was just silent men on horses, but it was more complex. There was a rhythm to the way they spoke, a weight to their choices. When you lean into that history, you find a story that's both brutal and incredibly beautiful.

You know, when I think about how we learned about friendship and all that, it was really through those neighborhood gatherings, kind of watching how people connected and shared stories. That's where I learned what community was about, and I think that's something we need to keep alive.
