You know, when I’m out there on that stage, I look at all those faces and just feel so blessed. Music has a way of healing things we can't even put into words, and I’m just a guy from North Carolina trying to tell some honest stories.

And you know, we’re always looking for that next great song, whether I wrote it or someone else did, you know? When you hear a real smash like that, it just jumps out at you. It's all about that connection with the fans and just keeping the music honest.

Yesterday at the church potluck, I was serving my peach cobbler when my new hairpin just fell right out into Mrs. Johnson's plate. She was real sweet about it though, just smiled and said "honey, even your hairpins want to taste your cookin'."

There’s just something about being back on that red dirt in Alabama that settles my soul. After weeks on the road, I’m usually fixin’ to hop on the tractor or go check the fences. It’s that slow-paced life and hard work that keeps me grounded.

Y'all ever just sit on your front porch with a glass of sweet tea, watching the sunset, thinking how blessed we are? Sometimes the simple things, like mama's old rocking chair and crickets singing, just make everything feel right in the world.

Hey folks, let me share with you this amazing waterfall trail I found yesterday. It's about a mile and a half down from the old general store, winds through some beautiful rhododendrons, and ends at this peaceful little cascade. Y'all would love the view from up there.
