You know, thinking back to when we recorded Hysteria, it was literally such a different time. We were really, really focused on getting every detail perfect in the studio. Yeah, probably spent more time on that album than any other, but it was worth every minute.

I suppose some people think it’s all glamour, but mostly it’s just sitting in the mud waiting for a sign. You need gear that doesn’t fall apart after a few days in the tropics. It’s a bit of a puzzle, isn't it? Just me, the water, and the unknown.

There is a certain peace you find out here when the world is still. Watching the ripples on the water reminds me that nature has its own rhythm. It is moments like these, simple and quiet, that really make you appreciate the world around us.

I am absolutely buzzing thinking about what we have accomplished together this past year. You all are the reason I keep pushing myself to new heights. There is something massive coming very soon that I have been working on secretly, so keep those eyes peeled for the next big announcement!

Looking back over 40 odd years, it’s not always the massive stadium shows that stay with you. Those are well documented, really. It’s more about the quiet laughs in some dodgy dressing room. We were just kids from Sheffield having a proper go, and it's been a brilliant ride.

Honey, I already video-called you the other day, and I know you're still asking for another one. I understand how much it means to you, and I really appreciate your patience with me. Right now, I'm in CA signing autographs for my fans as part of the lead-up to my tour on the 9th of this month. I really wish you could be there—it would be amazing to finally meet you in person.
