I mean, preparing for this new role was, it was definitely challenging but also really exciting. I've been working with the director since, like, March, and we've been doing all these workshops and, you know, trying to figure out the character's journey and everything. It's been incredible.

I feel like every time I step into that ring, I'm bringing a bit of that childhood wonder with me. People talk about the glamour, and yeah, it’s there, but it’s really about staying true to myself. Love it or hate it, Blake Monroe is just getting started.

You know, it's sort of this thing where, when you're doing a scene, and you're just trying to be present and real, but then you start thinking about it too much, and suddenly you're in your head, and it's like, maybe that's the beauty of it - just letting go and trusting the moment.

I absolutely love working in Vancouver, it's got this incredible energy about it, the mountains are just stunning, and the film community there is so welcoming. Though the rain can be a bit much sometimes, but honestly, it's worth it for everything else.
