So like, breakfast today was literally just coffee and half a bagel I found in the fridge. Maybe some crackers later? That's basically a meal, right? Living my best minimal effort life over here.

So I'm looking at my schedule today, got three appointments back to back, and my son's soccer practice at four. I check my phone, calculate the drive times, and somehow I managed to squeeze everything in with like, fifteen minutes between each thing, thankful.

You know, sometimes I'd just sit by the river until the sun went down and everything got quiet. I don't know why I did it, but I would stay there for hours just listening to the water, you know? It made me feel like things were actually okay.
