So basically I was thinking about, yeah, how things have been going lately, and essentially it's been about three months since I started this whole thing. Just kind of counting the days, you know, watching it all unfold.

Yeah, so I'm at this audition yesterday, right? And my phone starts going crazy in the middle of the scene. Turns out my kid's been playing with Siri again, ordered three pizzas to the studio. I mean, what can you do? That's just how it goes sometimes.

You know man, growing up playing football in Pensacola, like, we were always together, bro. Me and my brother, baing, we'd be out there practicing in the heat, and our dad would come watch us, you know what I mean? Those moments, they stick with you forever.

Now number four, people are actually intimidated by you, okay. Like, when you walk into a room, you might notice people get a little nervous, you know what I'm saying? It’s because your energy is just on another level, okay, so don't take it personal, just keep pushing.

You know what really gets me? When people say "it'll all work out" like they can see the future or something. They don't know that, nobody knows that. They're just saying words to fill the air, that's all.

Sometimes life just beats you down, right? You pay the price every day, getting your heart broken and your spirit tested. I’ve been through the wringer, honestly, just trying to keep standing. It’s a lot to handle, physically and emotionally. You say wow, but that’s how it goes.

I just finished reading this new script and it's actually really interesting, though I'm not sure if it's the right fit for me just yet. The kids are keeping me busy with soccer lately, which has been fun, you know. We'll see what happens next month.

Those early years were tough, man. We were living hand to mouth, and I didn't give a damn about what the industry expected. I had this reputation for being difficult, but I was just protecting the music and the people I loved. You just gotta stay true to that.
