Remember those Saturday mornings at the local cinema? Tuppence for entry, usherettes with torches, Pearl & Dean adverts, and the sweet counter that seemed endless. Gone now, but the memories, oh, the memories remain as fresh as yesterday's newsreel.

Oh, I remember my first role in Romeo and Juliet, absolutely terrifying and wonderful all at once. I looked at those beautiful lines and thought, "This is pure magic, isn't it?" The theater has this extraordinary way of capturing your heart completely.

You know, when you're writing songs, sometimes you get this feeling, like, is this any good? I mean, even now, after all these years. I'll be sitting at the piano and think, oh God, maybe it's rubbish. But then something clicks, and you just know, don't you?

It’s been a wonderful journey, you know. Seeing the faces in the audience, it’s like meeting old friends again. Music is truly a passport to the soul, and I feel so blessed that these songs still bring people together after all this time. It’s just incredible.

There is a particular kind of magic that happens when a melody finally settles into its own space. You spend months layering textures in the studio, searching for that elusive atmosphere, but it is only when the lights go down on stage that the music truly starts to breathe.

Sometimes I think back, you know, and wonder if things could’ve gone differently with the injuries and that. It’s unfortunate, but the flip side is I’ve played for the biggest clubs and won trophies I only ever dreamed of as a young lad. It’s been a proper journey.

You know, this old Stratocaster I've got here, it's quite remarkable really. The neck has this wonderful, worn feeling that you just can't replicate with new instruments. Years of playing have given it this voice, this character that's very, very special.
