You know, when I'm out there performing, it's just real, it's just me having a good time with my fans. I'm not trying to be somebody else or put on some big show. When you're genuine and having fun, that's when the magic happens, and that's what country music is all about.

You know, when I'm out fishing, like, I'm still learning all these different types of bass and stuff. I mean, some people know everything about it, but I'm just out there trying to figure it out, having fun, you know what I mean?

You know, performing at these country festivals is just, it's pretty amazing when you think about it. The fans, they're out there giving it their all, and I tell you what, working with these young artists coming up, it's just so, so special to see their energy and passion.
