You know, having a guy like Blake around, someone who’s been in the trenches of this business, it really means a lot. We’ve seen it all, and being able to just sit back and talk shop with a true friend, well, that’s a rare thing in this town.

You know, touring with these country folks, it's something special. I mean, we're all just regular people who happen to sing for a living, and sometimes... well, you get these friendships that just, they're real, you know what I'm saying?

You know, when I get out there on stage and see the fans, it's a real special feeling. I've always felt that if a song speaks to your heart, it'll probably speak to theirs too. It’s all about keeping things real and simple, you know? Just good music.

You know, back in the day, like '75, '76, we were playing these little clubs in Boston, and man, you know, my family would come down and, like, watch us perform. It was crazy, you know, just living in this tiny apartment, writing songs and stuff.
