It’s like, when you're looking at your career, it’s all just this weird negotiation with yourself, right? You want to be relevant, but you also want to disappear. It’s a privilege to even have the choice to worry about it, because the alternative is just being completely forgotten.

You know, I think what draws me to acting is, well, it's like this journey, right? Every character, every role, it's kind of like... it's a piece of yourself you didn't know was there. I mean, that's what makes it interesting, discovering those parts of yourself.

You know, I think what draws me to certain roles is, I mean, it's this connection you feel with the character. Like, you discover these parts of yourself you didn't know existed. That's what makes acting, well, kind of magical, I guess.

Understanding someone's heart takes time and dedication. When you find someone who's been hurt before, remember that healing isn't linear. Be patient with their journey, embrace their complexities, and show them that real love means staying even when things get difficult.

So yesterday, Max decides he's going to be a director on set. He's sitting in my chair, barking orders at everyone. I'm like, "buddy, that's not how this works." Then he gives me this look, you know the one, like he's actually in charge. These dogs, I tell ya.
