Welcome to the presentation of the Collegiate Women Development Cell of R.J. Tibrewal Commerce College. We believe in empowering every student — not just girls. Here’s a glimpse into what we’ve done this year. Being part of CWDC helps students grow through leadership, teamwork, and confidence. It offers hands-on experience and helps us make meaningful contributions beyond the classroom. CWDC organized a variety of events — awareness sessions, cultural activities, and outreach programs. Here’s a look of our journey. We began by breaking silence around menstruation, empowering young girls with awareness and dignity.Sanitary napkins were also distributed to promote hygiene and accessibility. Reel Rumble channelled our love for making reels to express creativity and confidence. It wasn’t just a competition — it became a voice for stories and expression. We welcomed the new batch with open hearts and introduced them to CWDC’s mission. From conversation to chocolates, the orientation was a warm start to a meaningful journey. With guidance from alumnus Mr. Bhavik Rao, students explored strategies for competitive exams.He shared tips, motivation, and the importance of self-discipline. Through clay, students found creativity and calm. Led by alumna Saloni Suthar, the mother-daughter clay model became a powerful symbol of emotion. We celebrated our roots through Garba, taught by renowned choreographer Bindiya Vaghela. The workshop filled the campus with energy, joy, and cultural pride. Empowerment took shape through self-defense training by alumna Drashti Makwana. Students learned practical skills for safety and built inner confidence. This winter, warmth came not just from clothes, but from compassion shared by our volunteers. CWDC reached slum communities with woollen clothes — spreading comfort and care. Every student contributed a handful — and together, we served hundreds with a heartwarming meal. The One-Cup Initiative reminded us how kindness multiplies when we come together. At LJ Primary School, 150 children were taught how to identify and guard against bad touch. Volunteers used storytelling and fun elements to make it engaging and memorable. We shared stories, laughter, played garba and made memories with elders who welcomed us like family. Our visit to HEERAMANI OLD AGE HOME reminded us — sometimes, the best gift is simply time, attention, and love. On Environment Day, we planted trees and made posters to spread green awareness. It was our small step toward a sustainable future. The Heritage Walk helped us explore history, architecture, and culture — up close and together. It deepened our connection to tradition and identity. School kits were packed with care and distributed to students in need. With every notebook and pencil distributed, we supported dreams waiting to be written. Together, let’s be the voice. Let’s be the change. join CWDC.
