Y'all ain't gonna believe this new fishing setup I got. It's a custom-made rod, perfect for noodling catfish. Dad helped me pick it out, and we've been testing it all weekend. It's about 6 foot long, super sturdy, and handles those big cats just right.

Y'all ain't gonna believe what happened while I was out catfishin' yesterday. Found this perfect spot near the creek, and I rigged up my new setup with some old chicken liver. Made myself a little DIY bait holder too, works like a charm.

Just pulled in a 12-pound catfish from the creek. Gonna clean it up and fry it for dinner tonight. Nothing better than fresh caught fish and some home-grown vegetables. That's good eating right there.
