So today I decided to try meditation, which is totally not my thing, right? And I'm sitting there thinking, "This is weird, I can't do this." But then something clicked. Like, maybe being bad at something is okay. And that's what growth is about, you know?

You know what happened to me today? I was driving to the store, and my mind started going to these places. What if the brakes failed? What if someone ran a red light? And then I started imagining all these scenarios. My brain just won't stop sometimes.

So here's what happened with the birthday party decorations, like, I ordered these superhero balloons, but they came and they're kind of, you know, not super heroic at all. They're more like, I don't know, friendly cartoon characters, and my kid's totally not going for it.

A lot of you guys ask what life is really like in the field, and honestly, it’s mostly just sitting around in the rain and waiting. It’s a total grind and it definitely sucks at the time, but the guys make it worth it, you know? Just keeping it real.

So like, in my photography class last week, um, we had to do this presentation thing where everyone shows their work and whatever, and it was kind of interesting I guess, like some people had really cool projects and stuff.

You know, it's like when you're sitting there with the music, and it just comes to you, right? Like this magical thing, you know? It's like the trees are singing, and I'm just there, kind of channeling this whole vibe, and it's perfect, you know what I mean?

So like, you guys asked about my gear and stuff, I figured I'd make a video about it. You know, basic combat load, plates, magazines, all that. It's pretty standard infantry stuff really, nothing too crazy. Wouldn't recommend carrying all this around though, gets pretty heavy.

So today I went to this meditation class, which is totally not my thing, right? But that's exactly why I went. I was terrible at it, my mind was everywhere, but you know what? I learned something about myself. Sometimes being bad at something is actually good for you.
