Today I'm starting cycle number four, the final one. Just got my blood work done, and the nurse is setting up my IV. Everything looks good so far. Ready to get through this last treatment and move forward.

You know, when I think about how we learned about friendship and all that, it was really through those neighborhood gatherings, kind of watching how people connected and shared stories. That's where I learned what community was about, and I think that's something we need to keep alive.

It's like, I just want everyone to feel loved, you know? Because I've been in that dark place where you feel like nobody cares. Like, even if you’re struggling right now, just know that you’re not the only one feeling this way. We’re all just trying to find peace.

Sometimes I catch myself living for everyone else's expectations, you know? Like, I'm starting to realize that my own happiness isn't selfish, it's necessary. I need to learn to put myself first sometimes, and that's okay.
