La Municipalidad Provincial de Caravelí informa a la población y a los transportistas que la vía 517, en el sector de la quebrada de MOLLES, ha sido restablecida y ya se encuentra completamente operativa. Durante la jornada de ayer, se ejecutó un operativo de atención de emergencia en los puntos críticos ubicados en el kilómetro 517, los cuales resultaron afectados por huaicos y lluvias torrenciales en la vía Caravelí – Cahuacho, específicamente en el tramo de la quebrada de Mollles, situación que había dejado la ruta temporalmente intransitable. Los trabajos de limpieza, encauzamiento y rehabilitación fueron realizados con maquinaria pesada de la Municipalidad Provincial de Caravelí, contando además con el apoyo del personal técnico de la Municipalidad Distrital de Cahuacho, en un esfuerzo coordinado entre ambas autoridades locales. El objetivo principal de esta intervención fue restablecer la transitabilidad vehicular y, sobre todo, garantizar la seguridad de la población y de los transportistas que circulan por esta importante vía de conexión. Las autoridades exhortan a los conductores a transitar con precaución, debido a que persisten condiciones climáticas variables en la zona, y reiteran su compromiso de atender de manera inmediata cualquier eventualidad que pueda poner en riesgo a la ciudadanía.
