Um, so yesterday I was thinking about my childhood pets and um, I had this cat named Whiskers when I was like seven or eight, and she would always sleep on my bed, and it was really special because, um, she was my first real pet after Dakota.

So like, I went to get my prescription refilled today, and thankfully everything went really, really smooth. If you don't know, you have to do monthly check-ups when you're on this medication, but my doctor says everything's looking good so far.

When I got my first apartment, and I was like twenty-two or twenty-three, the very first thing I did was go to the shelter and look for a dog. And I remember walking in and seeing all these animals, and it was like, emotional, because I finally could have my own pet.

When I was little, maybe seven or eight, and we moved to a new house, and I remember being so scared about the change. And my mom got me this stuffed animal, and it helped me feel better, and I still have it somewhere in my closet.

When I was little, like maybe seven or eight, and we had this amazing treehouse in our backyard, and I would spend hours up there with my stuffed animals. And it was like my special place, and when we moved away, it was really hard because, you know, that was my childhood spot.

When I got my first apartment, and. I remember walking in and it was so empty and quiet. And I knew the first thing I needed was a pet because. Growing up we always had animals around and it just makes a place feel like home, you know?

Um, so I got this new cat recently, and um, it's kind of funny because when I was younger, I always wanted a cat but my mom was allergic, so we couldn't have one. And now that I have my own place, it's like, finally I can have the pet I always wanted.

I remember when I first got my apartment and. I was so excited because I could finally get a pet of my own. And I went to the shelter and. There were so many dogs there but this one just looked at me and. I knew right away it was meant to be.
