Y'know, people keep asking me why I work so hard, and I'll tell you straight up - it's about choice. When I can provide for my family, make my own decisions, and live life on my terms, that's real freedom. I'm just wondering why folks don't see it that way.

Being back on set with this crew was just incredible, you know, because we really have that creative shorthand now. There's so much trust between us and it makes the work so much better. Honestly, seeing how everyone committed to the vision was just really inspiring.

Hold on now, lemme see what we got here. Y'all just wait a minute while I figure this out. Was gonna get everybody sorted, but then... hold on now, maybe we should all pitch in for the next round, if y'all's willing.

You know, I've been in the studio working with some incredible writers, and I think what makes country music so special is just the authenticity, the real stories. Like, when you hear a song that hits you, that's not just luck, that's somebody pouring their heart into it.

And you know, we’re always looking for that next great song, whether I wrote it or someone else did, you know? When you hear a real smash like that, it just jumps out at you. It's all about that connection with the fans and just keeping the music honest.

So I walked back in and told him, look, I've had all night to think, and my answer is still no. He said, you're making a mistake, but I just said, I have to be able to live with myself at the end of the day, you know?

You know, I feel like nowadays everything's moving so fast and, I mean, people are always rushing to the next thing, but I just, I love when we can slow down and appreciate what we have, what made things special in the first place.
