We were out on the course again and like, the weather was actually so perfect. I was like, I really need to focus today, and then I just hit the cleanest drive. It was so insane, I literally had to stop and just take it all in.

So I actually started thinking about picking up the guitar again recently because I really missed that feeling of playing for hours, even though I'm kind of rusty now and haven't really touched it since those days back in high school.

So people always ask what a typical day looks like for me. Honestly, it's just a lot of waiting around until we go on some long hike with heavy packs. It definitely sucks sometimes, but the brotherhood makes it worth it, you know? Probably wouldn't do it again though.

You know, a lot of you guys ask about daily life in the infantry and honestly, it's mostly just field ops and cleaning your rifle for hours. I figured I'd be real with you, it’s a lot of waiting around. It builds character, but man, your knees will feel it.

The sunset tonight over the water is absolutely incredible, you know. It has these deep orange and purple hues reflecting off the waves right near the pier. It’s one of those moments that makes everything feel still for a second. Honestly, it is just beautiful.
