Um, so yesterday I was thinking about my childhood pets and um, I had this cat named Whiskers when I was like seven or eight, and she would always sleep on my bed, and it was really special because, um, she was my first real pet after Dakota.

So like, I went to get my prescription refilled today, and thankfully everything went really, really smooth. If you don't know, you have to do monthly check-ups when you're on this medication, but my doctor says everything's looking good so far.

When I was little, like maybe seven or eight, and we moved to a new house, and I remember being so scared about starting a new school. And my mom got me this little stuffed animal, and it helped me feel better, and I still have it somewhere in my closet.

I remember when I first got my apartment and, like, I was so excited because I could finally get a pet and. It was like the best feeling ever because I'd been waiting since I was little, and I knew exactly what kind of dog I wanted.

So when I got my new puppy last month, and she was so tiny and scared, and I remember just sitting there with her all night, and it reminded me of when I was little and how much I wanted to protect her, and now she's like my best friend.

Um, so like, I got this new puppy recently, and it's kind of funny because, um, when I was younger, I always wanted a dog but couldn't have one in our apartment. And now that I'm older and have my own place, it's like, the best feeling ever.
