Hey darlin', just wanted to say what an amazing show last night. That crowd was something else - must've been ten thousand strong. You knocked it out of the park with that new song. You're making country music proud, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

You know, when you've been doing this as long as I have, you realize it's the people that matter most. Having a guy like Blake in your corner makes those long nights on the road a whole lot easier. We just tell stories and keep it real, you know?

Had this show in Memphis last summer, and wouldn't you know it, right in the middle of my set, this big ol' storm rolls in. Lightning hits something nearby, kills all the power except my mic. So there I am, standing in the dark, telling stories to keep folks entertained.
