It’s a very curious thing, the Hollywood machine. You know, you find yourself in the center of a storm, and suddenly the weather changes. But I mean, you keep moving. You find the truth in the work, because that's all that really matters in the end.

You see, time is a funny thing, isn't it? It just sort of... rolls on. I find myself looking at these marks, basically counting the years and just trying to make sense of the journey. Yeah, it’s all about the stories we leave behind, essentially, in the end.

You spend so much time worrying about what the machine wants from you, you know, but eventually you just have to stop looking at the screen. I prefer the quiet truth of the art itself, away from the noise and the labels. It's much simpler on this side.
