You know, I think there's like, this really beautiful thing that happens when you're writing music and it's kind of, it's almost like you're connecting with something bigger than yourself, and people feel that, they understand that deeper meaning, you know?

You know what's mad? I'm learning that it's okay to not have everything sorted. Like, I'm in my thirties now, and I'm finally understanding that growing up is just basically being confused but pretending you're not. And that's alright, innit?

You know what, when I'm writing music, I have to be true to myself. Like, people tell me what's gonna sell, what's gonna work, but I'm like, no way. I've learned that my best songs come when I'm just being real, being me, writing from my heart.

You know what's mad? I've spent so much time trying to be perfect, like, for everyone else. But now I'm just learning to be okay with myself, with all the messy bits. That's what your thirties do to you, I suppose.

I've spent so much time just trying to keep my head above water, you know? It's about being brave enough to sit in your feelings, even when they're messy. I'm finally learning that letting go isn't a defeat, it's actually how you find yourself again after all the chaos.

I’ve realized that you’ve properly got to sit with your feelings, even the messy ones, to actually grow. It’s like, once you become a mum, you haven't got the energy for the nonsense anymore. You just want to be real with yourself, even if it's a bit scary.

Look, I've been around long enough to know that some people just love to talk. Whether they're judging my age or my job, it honestly doesn't phase me one bit. I'm out here living my life and making my own money. I have never felt more confident.
