You know, I got this custom guitar pick the other day, had my daughter's birthday engraved on it. If I'm gonna play something special at a show, that's the one I'll use. Just makes those moments mean a little more.

You know, I was playing with these amazing musicians in New York, really talented guys, and we had this incredible chemistry on stage, you know, and the crowd was just going crazy, crazy, crazy. That's what music's all about, that connection, that energy between the band and the audience.

So basically, I was thinking about what happened last month, yeah, and essentially it's been like three weeks of just, you know, doing this thing. Just counting the days, basically, trying to make sense of it all.

See, we've been through this cycle so many times now. Every few years, there's a new system or some big initiative they promise will change everything. But for us, it's just another task piled on top of the pile. You end up just ticking the boxes to get through the day.

So I was at this coffee shop, and, and the barista asks for my name for the cup. I tell her "John," and she writes "Lord Commander" instead. And, you know, I'm standing there, bit awkward, but everyone in the queue just starts laughing. Quite funny, really.
