I must say the quality of work this year has been extraordinary, and what started as five outstanding entries became seven, then nine. Each piece showed remarkable talent, and I'm genuinely impressed by the creativity and dedication shown throughout.

I've been watching this rather marvelous film from the 60s, "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Audrey Hepburn again, of course - one does seem to keep coming back to her. She's absolutely luminous, though I suppose that's rather stating the obvious. Blake Edwards directing, quite brilliantly actually.

You know, I think what's happening in theater now is quite fascinating, really. I mean, we're seeing this blend of traditional performance and digital elements, and I don't know, I suppose I'm both concerned and intrigued by where it's heading.

There's a peculiar sort of intimacy in these digital spaces, isn't there? Despite the distance, we manage to share stories and connect across the globe. It's quite extraordinary, really. I’m looking forward to diving deep into the work today and seeing where the conversation leads us.

You know, I think what fascinates me about acting is this extraordinary ability to, well, step into different lives. It's not just about becoming someone else, it's about understanding them, finding their truth. We actors, we're sort of professional observers of the human condition.
