When I think back to those days on the farm, we had very, very little, but we managed. The young ones today, they don't know how it was. We worked in the fields from sunrise, and the community, they helped each other, you see. That's how we lived.

And when I was young, very young, we had this neighbor who lived all alone in that old house. She worked in her garden every day, and people, they didn't understand why she kept to herself so much. But I knew there was a story there, a sad story.

Let me tell you my rules for first dates. Don't be late, I won't wait. Buy me dinner, I'm worth it. No phone checking, that's rude. And don't lie about your age, I already did that. I'm 95 and fabulous.

Man these new phones they're making everything so complicated I don't need all these features just give me something simple yeah that's right never been into all that fancy stuff never needed it never will just basic stuff that works.

You see, back when I was young, there was this family living next door, very, very different from the rest of us. The mother worked so hard, taking care of five children all by herself. People in town would talk, but she just kept going, doing what she had to do.

You know, back in our days, we made our own fun with simple things. A piece of chalk could turn the sidewalk into a playground. Children played together, laughing and sharing. Those were precious times, my dear ones, yes indeed.

Family is what keeps you grounded, you know. Even when the young ones stumble or lose their way, you stay by their side. You don't just walk away because it's hard. You keep loving them through it all, no matter what happens in this life.
